Stock market update: FMCG index in the green; United Breweries, HUL top gainers

NEW DELHI: The Nifty FMCG index was trading 0.60 per cent up at 28,775 around 12:45 pm on Thursday, with United Breweries (up 1.71 per cent) and Hindustan Unilever (HULNSE 1.65 %) (up 1.30 per cent) as top gainers.  Shares of Dabur IndiaNSE 1.24 % (up 1.16 per cent), Godrej Consumer Products (up 1.01 per cent), Jubilant FoodworksNSE 1.73 % (up 0.97 per cent) and Britannia IndustriesNSE 1.25 % (up 0.95 per cent) were also trading with gains.  Tata Global Beverages (up 0.68%). Emami (up 0.46 per cent) and ITC (up 0.28 per cent) were also seen in the green in the index.
